An iconic home in Indianapolis’s Lockerbie neighborhood, this renovation was guided by a design-first, consulting-led approach that honored the surrounding architectural context while introducing bold, modern design decisions.
Color played a central role in shaping the design. Rather than defaulting to safe choices, we used confident, intentional color to add depth and contrast—carefully balanced with traditional elements. Beginning in the kitchen and extending throughout the home, early alignment between design vision, budget expectations, and the construction team ensured a cohesive renovation that feels expressive, functional, and fully resolved.
View ProjectThis kitchen renovation was guided by a design-first, consulting-led approach, rooted in mid-century modern principles of simplicity, proportion, and function. Located in Meridian Hills, the goal was to create a kitchen that felt intentional and timeless—modern without feeling trendy, and expressive without excess.
Material selection, cabinetry lines, and layout decisions were carefully considered to support the home’s architecture and daily use. Rather than over-designing the space, we focused on clarity—using restrained color, warm wood tones, and thoughtful detailing to create visual balance. Early alignment between design direction, budget expectations, and the construction team ensured a streamlined process and a kitchen that feels cohesive, purposeful, and true to its mid-century inspiration.
View ProjectThis Northside study was designed as a quiet, intentional retreat, guided by a consulting-led approach that focused on how the space would be used—not just how it would look. The goal was to create a room that felt collected and purposeful, supporting reading, reflection, and conversation.
Custom built-ins, furnishings, and lighting were carefully layered to create balance and depth, while maintaining a sense of calm and order. Rather than filling the space, each element was selected to serve a role—visually and functionally—resulting in a study that feels grounded, cohesive, and quietly expressive.

Located in a downtown home, the design needed to feel intentional and refined—maximizing impact while maintaining a sense of calm.
Color played a defining role in shaping the space. A saturated yet balanced palette adds depth and personality without overwhelming the room, while custom storage, integrated shelving, and thoughtful lighting support everyday use.
